All About Evil A Long Lost Peaches Christ’s Cult Film Coming To Blu-ray and Shudder

Severin Films is releasing a Special Edition of Peaches Christ’s Cult Film All About Evil in June, starring Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll) and an All-Star Cast. To celebrate the release of Shudder’s Blu-ray edition of Campy Gorefest, Peaches Christ will be hosting a series of screenings around both coasts.

When a shy librarian played by Lyonne takes over the failing movie theater that her late father owned, a sequence of brutal murders that are captured on camera will convert her into the new queen of independent splatter cinema.

“Dares to be everything a gushing fan boy, girl or drag queen could want.” — Daily Dead

California, USA – Peaches Christ’s All About Evil went underground for years after its global premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival in 2010 and a limited release in theaters. A special edition Blu-ray from Severin Films will be released on June 10th, while a North American streaming release on Shudder on June 13th will bring the deranged, blood-spattered classic back for good.

“Peaches Christ 4-D Screenings” will be held in Los Angeles and San Francisco, where the film was shot, on June 9 and June 11, respectively, as a celebration of the film’s release. On June 12, Peaches Christ and other cast members will be signing Blu-rays at Dark Delicacies in Los Angeles.

In addition to the brand-new HD restoration, the All About Evil Blu-ray will include previously unreleased and brand-new supplementary materials for fans to enjoy. The Blu-ray will be released on June 10th via Severin Films. Shudder’s North American subscribers will be able to see the movie on June 13th.

Peaches Christ talked on the film’s long-awaited revival. “For years, the movie has been unavailable and fans have been clamoring for it. As the creator, it’s been frustrating to say the least. I feel like I’ve been given a great gift from both Severin and Shudder and am thrilled so many new people will discover my Evil little baby. The BluRay and features are truly stunning. I’m really proud of the film and am hoping the re-release helps get another feature film going!”

Peaches Christ has performed all over the world, terrifying and delighting audiences ever since the release of All About Evil. Midnight Mass, a podcast based on Peaches’ long-running cult movie series in San Francisco, has been broadcast by Peaches for the past two years. A wide range of topics, from Dario Argento’s films to Rock N’ Roll High School to Matilda, are discussed in depth each week by the duo.
