What is happening? That is the whole question in The Happening nobody really seems to know but A science teacher, his wife, and a young girl struggle to survive a plague that causes those infected to commit suicide.
Grim by nature but a very hyper realistic film depicting just how much panic and chaos can follow a large event in the world where people have to run to the hills and isolate away from a biological disease.
The movie was not received very well by critics, and many people found it to be strange and misunderstood, however in years to follow the film gained a cult following and is loved by quite a large amount of people in the current year.
Mark Wahlberg delivers a great performance and the movie is actually quite excellent we just finished watching it again that’s about 7 times now since its release and the horror facts team still really enjoyed The Happening.
If you are bored, or just really want to immerse yourself into a world gone totally mad in conjunction with the world we live in now in 2020 then this film will spark ideas and inspiration in your mind.
Bottom line is if you never seen the movie you should turn it on the next time you plan to chill out and watch a great film.
