During this current lock down happening around the world its good to know that there are services like Dread TV currently running on a freemium model allowing everyone to enjoy some horror movies with the covid-19 outbreak currently running wild.

We only tested the service briefly on our Android TV and it seemed to have a moderate selection of films, some bigger name titles and others never being heard of before, but hey its free.

Lets get started with Dread TV

To get started using Dread TV you will need to make sure you have a compatible device. Android TV, Roku, Firestick and Apple iOS TV platforms offer the channel by default you simply have to add it to your channel list.

P.S Perhaps you just have a simple android tv box, tablet or phone and cannot access this channel, have no fear the folks at F-Droid created the Yalp Store which allows any Android device to use Android TV apps, you can read more about Yalp Store here.

  1. It’s 9/30/23 and I have this dread tv channel but all the movies, etc state that content is unavailable and to contact info epic-pictures.com? That site just shows and phone #, fax # and not much else. Is this channel working? I use a Roku.

  2. I would like to know if Dread TV is going to come back online with Roku? I don’t think it’s too much to ask for an update from you guys. I know that there are a lot of people who watch on Roku.

    Thanks for your reply, I do appreciate you taking the time to do so. Unfortunately, I did reach out to Dread Central and have not gotten the courtesy of a reply. Since it’s been over 2 weeks now, I figure that I probably won’t. I see their website is pretty much toast with no videos being shown and the “contact us” link does not work. All I got was the dreaded (Pun intended) spinning wheel of death when I tried it. Guess it’s one way of tell me (us) they are kaput and/or not interested in replying.
