Are you dying to go on vacation but tired of going to Disneyland? Can’t stomach another trip to Universal Studios? Then plan your next vacation getaway with “Terror Trips,” the company that puts a morbid twist on tourism.
Ask yourself this: How far would you go to visit the locations of some of your favorite horror movies? Well, Mutiny Pictures’ new film ‘Terror Trips,’ releasing June 14, 2022, answers that very question.
The film tells the story of six friends who come up with a “killer business idea” to provide slasher fans with the ultimate fan experience by giving guided tours of the shooting locations of the world’s most famous horror films. To add maximum chills, visitors are treated to late-night screenings of the very movie filmed at that location.
What horror fan wouldn’t want the opportunity to truly immerse themselves into the world of horror? After all, it’s only make believe. Or is it?
The teaser trailer for ‘Terror Trips’ briefly sets the stage, as we’re provided with the message “people here have not forgiven.” This alludes to the fact that one of the locations on the planned itinerary might have been used for more than just a film set. This particular location has a dark secret of its own, a fact that seems to haunt those who remember.
It seems the secret is best left undisturbed by unwanted guests, as the trailer continues by giving us the ominous warning to “not tell anyone else why you’re here.”
The forty-one-second trailer then provides us with one final piece of advice, as the mysterious voice tells us they think “you should leave.”
The short teaser ends with a shot of a young woman who appears to have, regrettably, not heeded the person’s advice and is now suffering the consequences of her curiosity.
