A mysterious force has taken over the minds and hearts of the people. Kim, Mac, and Jane convince themselves that it is just paranoia, but soon after the city is besieged by the changes. By the time they realize an alien intelligence has merged with their neighbor, Bill (Tony Todd), a horde of changes is encroaching outside their suburban home.
