DEMI MOORE CAST IN HORROR MOVIE ‘THE SUBSTANCE’

Deadline reported this week that Moore would be one of the leads in Coralie Fargeat’s new genre film The Substance. The French filmmaker is behind the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival hit Revenge.

The film will also star Margaret Qualley, who is best known for her role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The Substance is reportedly starting to shoot in Paris in May, and is described as an “explosive feminist take on body horror.” The premise appears to be a feminist take on body horror, but very little information is known at this time.

In addition, Demi spoke about how she felt like a “guinea pig” while making the 2020 film Songbird, as it was the first film to begin production after COVID-19.

Along with Working Title partners Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan, Fargate will also write and produce the film, from Universal Pictures and Working Title Films.
