February 1st Shudder Films

THE BORIS KARLOFF COLLECTION: A collection of Boris Karloff’s most iconic film roles will premiere on Shudder US on February 1, as a companion to the Shudder Exclusive documentary Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster, which premiered on January 27. The collection includes The Black Cat, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, House of Frankenstein, The Mummy, and Son of Frankenstein, as well as The Old Dark House and Black Sabbath, both now available on Shudder US.

Tales from the Hood:  A funeral director tells four strange tales of horror to three drug dealers he traps in his place of business.

Tales from the Hood 2:  In an update of the cult classic, executive producer Spike Lee returns to the screen with Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott directing a horror-comedy starring David Keith.

Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight:  Brayker possesses the last of the seven keys, which contained the blood of Christ and were scattered around the universe in order to prevent the forces of evil from taking over. When The Collector gets the last key, the universe will fall into chaos, so he has been following Brayker all the way to a small inn in a nowhere town. A new war begins for the fate of the universe.

Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood:  As part of his next adventure, the Crypt Keeper tells the tale of a funeral parlor that moonlights as a vampire bordello.

Cherry Falls:  The virgins of the local high school are being murdered by a psychotic killer in Cherry Falls.

Roh:  A single mother, cut off from civilization, alerts her children when they find a young girl caked in clay in the house. It’s not simply superstition that she speaks of spirits and spirit hunters. She finds new reasons to fear the forest as more strangers arrive on her doorstep

Queen of the Damned:  The vampire Lestat becomes a rock star whose music awakens the equally beautiful and monstrous Queen of all vampires in this sequel to Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles.

February 2nd Shudder Films

The Last Winter: 

Blood Glacier:  Researchers from the Austrian Alps find that a glacier is leaking liquid that is affecting the local wildlife.

February 3rd Shudder Film

Slapface:  In the wake of the death of his mother, Lucas, a lonely man who lives with his brother Tom in an old rundown house, goes looking for comfort in the nearby woods. With his only “friends” being a group of female bullies, he keeps to himself most of the time. But, after a strange encounter with an inhuman monster, Lucas begins to withdraw from others. When the two reach a tentative trust, a bizarre friendship is born, and Lucas is swept up in a series of primal adventures. (check out the press release)

February 7th Shudder Movies

Entwined:  Physician Panos moves to a Greek village to provide medical services to the underserved community. Danae, who lives in isolation and has a mysterious skin condition, is love at first sight for him. As Panos tries to cure Danae, he soon discovers she’s not the helpless princess he thought, and time is running out.

Fragile:  A nurse tries desperately to keep her patients safe from a plague of mysterious acts as she begins a new job at a rundown children’s hospital.

Rock, Paper, Scissors:  Their world is built around strange games and relentless madness, and Jesus and Jose Maria are siblings. When their half-sister Magdalena becomes involved in a strange and bloody affair when she returns home to inquire about her inheritance, a strange and bloody conflict ensues.  

February 8th Gets one new Shudder Movie

I Blame Society:  Her peers have lost faith in her potential to succeed, so a struggling filmmaker decides to prove her abilities by completing an abandoned film… and killing someone.

February 10th Movie for Shudder

All the Moons: A young girl is rescued by a mysterious woman from an orphanage after it is destroyed by a bomb, at the end of the 19th century, during the last Carlist war. After being injured and close to death, the girl believes the woman is an angel who will take her to Heaven. Then, she discovers that this strange being has transformed her into a vampire, giving her the gift of eternal life.

February 14th:

I Am a Ghost:  Emily, a troubled soul, haunts her own house every day and wonders why she can’t leave. Through the help of a clairvoyant hired to rid the house of ghosts, Emily finds herself in a patient/therapist relationship where she discovers disturbing mysteries about her past that may help her move on.

Corporate Animals:  An overeager guide leads a group of misfits on a disastrous team building retreat led by a delusional CEO. It becomes a lot more appetizing to hold mandatory office bonding when catastrophe strikes and the food runs out.

Knocking:  The film follows Molly (Cecilia Milocco) as she begins to recover from a traumatic experience by moving into a new apartment. However, a series of persistent knocks and screams start to wake Molly early in the morning. Molly’s new life unravels as the screams intensify and no one else in the building believes her or wants to help her.

Spring: A young man flees to Italy for a change of scenery, where he sparks up a romance with a woman harbouring a dark secret.

Silent Retreat: After being sentenced to a silent meditation retreat in the woods, Jaye is shocked when she discovers the men running the retreat brainwash women, and she realizes what lies behind the trees if she breaks any of the rules.

Eat, Brains, Love:  The movie has heart and brains while being hilarious and romantic.

February 17th New Shudder Original No Trailer Yet

They Live in the Grey:  One young social worker discovers a supernatural entity tormenting a family while investigating a child abuse case. In order to prevent losing custody of her child, she must face her fears and use her clairvoyance to stop the malevolent force.

February 21st Shudder Movie Lineup

Detention: Taiwan, 1962, during the White Terror. Fang wakes up, but the school has changed. She meets Wei (Tse Jing-Hua) while wandering through the sinister corridors and other dilapidated rooms in search of her teacher. To find out what happened to their alma mater, they must confront the ghosts and deformed monsters that have taken over the school.

Dogs: After inheriting his grandfather’s land, Roman returns to it. Upon deciding to sell the vast desolate property, a local police officer warns him that his late grandfather was a local crime lord, and his men will not let go of the property.

Dawn of the Beast: During a search for the legendary Bigfoot, a group of graduate students discover more than they bargained for. In addition to his presence, something far more dangerous lurks in the shadows.

February 24th the last Shudder film for the month

Hellbender: Izzy, 16, lives on a mountaintop in isolation. Only her protective mom and the wilderness have taught her anything. Izzy and Mom live a peaceful life – except when they play loud songs in their band, H6LLB6ND6R. Izzy dreams of a live gig, but her mother says she is too sick to be around other people. Izzy, plagued by illness and in need of companionship, sneaks down the mountain to meet brazen Amber. When Izzy plays a cruel drinking game with a live worm, a new hunger is unleashed.
