Total Film Magazine’s Halloween Kills issue will be available on newsstands this Friday. John Carpenter is also featured in a impressive retrospective.
Following the last scene in which Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) leave Michael Myers in her basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, convinced she has finally killed her lifelong enemy. The ritual bloodbath resumes after Michael is able to free himself from Laurie’s trap. She inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster as she fights against her pain and prepares to defend herself. In an effort to hunt down Michael, the Strode women enlist a vigilante mob composed of survivors from Michael’s first rampage.
This film will be released in theatres only on October 15, 2021, with the screenplay written by David Gordon Green, Danny McBride, and Scott Teems.
