Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny Showing At The Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival has exciting news for all Indiana Jones fans out there – the world premiere of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” has been confirmed! The highly anticipated film will be shown out of competition at the Palais des Festivals on May 18. The news was first announced by Variety, and it has now been officially confirmed by the festival.

Directed by James Mangold and starring Harrison Ford, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” also features an impressive cast including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen. While the attendance of the cast at the premiere has not been officially confirmed, it is highly likely that Disney will pull out all the stops for the film’s red carpet event.

In addition to the premiere, the festival will pay a special tribute to Harrison Ford, who has played some of the most iconic roles in cinema over the last 50 years, including Han Solo in the Star Wars franchise and Rick Deckard in “Blade Runner” and “Blade Runner 2049.”

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” is set to be the final instalment featuring Harrison Ford as the titular character. The details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but based on the trailer, it seems that Dr. Jones will be facing off against former Nazis in a flashback sequence that uses de-aging technology to transport Ford back in time.

The legendary composer John Williams, who has scored every Indiana Jones adventure since the original “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, has once again composed the score for this installment.

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will be released in cinemas on June 28 in France and on June 30 in the U.S. With such a star-studded cast and a legendary director, this film is sure to be a blockbuster hit. Don’t miss out on the adventure of a lifetime!
