Filmmaker Better Noise Films, co-producers of The Dirt, has secured distribution deals with CineLife Entertainment and Trafalgar Releasing to distribute The Retaliators in the U.S. and Canada, as well as abroad. The 14th of September, 2022, has been set aside by CineLife Entertainment and Trafalgar as the date for a worldwide theatrical release.
In addition, the film had its international premiere at London’s Arrow Video FrightFest and was the opening picture at Screamfest in the United States, where it received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes throughout its festival run.
Michael Lombardi (“Rescue Me”), Marc Menchaca (“Ozark”), and Joseph Gatt (“Game of Thrones”) lead the cast, along with Jacoby Shaddix, who makes his acting debut. The Retaliators has cameos and music from Motley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, Five Finger Death Punch’s Ivan Moody, Zoltan Bathory, and Chris Kael, Papa Roach, Jaya of The Hu, Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, Eva Under Fire’s Amanda Lyberg, Matt Brandyberry, Danny Case, Lance Dowdle, and Matt Madiro of From Ashes to New, Cory Marks, and Dan Murphy and (“Stranger Things”).
Synopsis: As he hunts for answers about his daughter’s horrible death, an upstanding pastor finds a dark and twisted underworld. A high-octane original soundtrack and appearances from some of rock’s biggest musicians set the tone for this horror-thriller, which unveils a game of vengeance played by a new set of rules.
Better Noise has recruited top-tier marketing partners for the theatrical release, including Amazon, Apple, Audacy, Cumulus Media, Deezer, iHeart Radio, Live Nation, Pandora, SiriusXM, Spotify, Ticketmaster, and YouTube, who will all use an integrated marketing strategy to promote the film.
In addition, the summer tours of Motley Crüe, Asking Alexandria, Five Finger Death Punch, Nothing More, The Hu, Papa Roach, Bad Wolves, and Eva Under Fire will include marketing and exclusive content to promote the film, as well as advance ticket sales.
