In honor of the 20th anniversary of the first ‘Underworld’ movie, Wiseman hinted to Entertainment Weekly that there are plans underway to resurrect the franchise and give us more of that sweet, sweet vampire-on-werewolf action.
“There’s a fashion that is in the works,” Wiseman teased. Is he referring to the TV series that’s been rumored for years? My spidey senses are tingling! As a card-carrying member of the ‘Underworld’ fan club, I’ll soak up our favorite leather catsuit-wearing vampire warrioress Selene in any fashion possible!
I’m the first to admit these movies aren’t winning any critical acclaim. But for those of us with a thirst for stylish, gore-soaked supernatural throwdowns, the ‘Underworld’ series has always slaked our thirst for blood! I’d love nothing more than to see Kate Beckinsale back in action, splitting werewolves in two and looking Gothically gorgeous.
