We have also composed a complete list of the best horror streaming services at https://horrorfacts.com/the-complete-list-of-horror-streaming-services-with-reviews-and-ratings/
A free horror movie streaming services is now an option from the creators at Dread Central which is dubbed Dread TV, this service is offering free horror movies streaming on demand via many different platforms.
DREAD TV is a free to watch video on demand service featuring some of the best films and originals that DREAD Presents has to offer. Curated by the fiends at Dread Central.com to bring genre fans a wide variety of distinct and terrifying voices celebrating the bloody best of modern horror.
This is what Dread TV says about it’s self.
During this current lock down happening around the world its good to know that there are services like Dread TV currently running on a freemium model allowing everyone to enjoy some horror movies with the covid-19 outbreak currently running wild.
We only tested the service briefly on our Android TV and it seemed to have a moderate selection of films, some bigger name titles and others never being heard of before, but hey its free.
To get started using Dread TV you will need to make sure you have a compatible device. Android TV, Roku, Firestick and Apple iOS TV platforms offer the channel by default you simply have to add it to your channel list.
P.S Perhaps you just have a simple android tv box, tablet or phone and cannot access this channel, have no fear the folks at F-Droid created the Yalp Store which allows any Android device to use Android TV apps, you can read more about Yalp Store here.
Let us know if you liked Dread TV in the comments section below, and we will be sure to read every reply that is made.

It’s 9/30/23 and I have this dread tv channel but all the movies, etc state that content is unavailable and to contact info epic-pictures.com? That site just shows and phone #, fax # and not much else. Is this channel working? I use a Roku.
Thanks for letting us know, I just checked it out and it seems the apps have stopped working the only version of dread tv that I can find now is at this link https://www.dreadcentral.com/dread-tv/
Thanks much for confirming! October is my favorite month & seems a shame that this channel is non working.
I would like to know if Dread TV is going to come back online with Roku? I don’t think it’s too much to ask for an update from you guys. I know that there are a lot of people who watch on Roku.
Thank you.

Justin,
Thanks for your reply, I do appreciate you taking the time to do so. Unfortunately, I did reach out to Dread Central and have not gotten the courtesy of a reply. Since it’s been over 2 weeks now, I figure that I probably won’t. I see their website is pretty much toast with no videos being shown and the “contact us” link does not work. All I got was the dreaded (Pun intended) spinning wheel of death when I tried it. Guess it’s one way of tell me (us) they are kaput and/or not interested in replying.
Anyway, thanks again.
