The first teaser trailer for the upcoming 12th season of American Horror Story has just been released by FX, giving us a taste of what’s to come in the new installment subtitled Delicate.
The brief but creepy teaser set to the tune of “Rock-a-Bye Baby” reveals that stars Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne will be headlining the cast this season. It appears a baby theme is being hinted at, matching reports that the new season will revolve around a woman who believes someone is trying to prevent her from getting pregnant.
Delicate is being spearheaded by writer and showrunner Halley Feiffer, who takes over Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. This marks the first season not directly created by Murphy and Falchuk, though they remain executive producers of the anthology series they launched in 2011.
Over its past 11 seasons, American Horror Story has redefined the horror genre by tackling different subgenres and storylines each season. From a twisted asylum run by nuns to a coven of feuding witches, a paranormal circus freakshow and a haunted hotel housing serial killers, fans have come to expect the unexpected from AHS.
