Neve Campbell is now a big topic in the Scream franchise. The actress who has appeared in every Scream movie has opted not to participate for the sixth instalment owing to inadequate financial discussions. Nonetheless, there is currently a rumor circulating that Campbell might already have committed or signed a contract for Scream 6 in secrecy.
Based on Instagram page, “Don’t f*k with the original” Campbell and the production company have reached an agreement on a cash figure that works for both parties. This supposed negotiation extends beyond Scream 6 as well. Campbell will reportedly have a minor role in Scream 6 and return in a greater capacity for Scream 7. Now, ordinarily outlets wouldn’t waste their time on something like this, but this specific website has been correct about other rumors in the past.
Again, this is only a rumor, so proceed with caution. However, considering the source, it’s possible that this will turn out to be real.
Dewey Riley was the sole continuity character from previous entries in the Scream franchise to perish in the most recent chapter.
Cox will join returning cast mates Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, and Mason Gooding in Scream 6. In addition, Hayden Panettiere, who played Kirby Reed in Scream 4, will reprise her role. All of the survivors of Scream 5 have decided to leave Woodsboro and begin a new life. Assuming that the killer or killers of Ghostface aren’t far behind,
It’s excellent news for fans if this is true, as many of us consider Neve Campbell to be Scream and she should be a part of the trilogy’s conclusion. It should have been obvious to Paramount that they needed to do everything it takes to bring her back when it was revealed that she would not be returning. I’m crossing my fingers that this rumor is accurate.
