It’s finally here – Marvel’s living vampire, and a new poster shows the team he’ll be traveling with.
Sony Pictures has released a striking poster for the long-awaited film Morbius, which debuts in theatres on April 1st.
Morbius stars Jared Leto (Oscar winner), Jared Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, and Michael Keaton as the titular living vampire (as the Vulture from the Spider-Man universe).
The uncanny transition of Dr. Michael Morbius into the dangerous antihero is shown in Morbius, directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script by Matt Sazama, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Burk Sharpless. The scientist, who is critically ill with a rare blood ailment and is driven to save others from his fate, “attempts a risky gamble,” according to the official synopsis.
There has been speculation regarding a possible crossover between the two characters since the Marvel Comics Morbius character debuted in a 1971 issue of The Amazing Spider–Man (from writer Roy Thomas and illustrator Gil Kane).
