For 17 glorious years, the Glasgow Film Theatre has been the home of the best horror & fantasy film festival in the UK as part of the internationally renowned Glasgow Film Festival.
The FrightFest presents twelve tasty treats, spanning eight countries and three continents, showcasing the latest genre discoveries through world-premieres, international premieres, and UK premieres from Thursday 10th to Saturday 12th March. The first FrightFest was staged at the Prince Charles cinema, off Leicester Square, in 2000. It is the brainchild of Paul McEvoy, Ian Rattray and Alan Jones. It has been held every August Bank Holiday weekend since then.
