A big announcement coming out of BlumFest was the release of the second teaser trailer for the anticipated movie, ‘Halloween Kills.’
Not much is revealed in the just over 30 second new teaser other than the fact that Michael is back to terrorize another Halloween night.
What we do know is that Jamie Lee Curtis returns in ‘Halloween Kills’ in her iconic role as Laurie Strode, along with Judy Grier, Andi Matichak, and Dylan Arnold, who reprise their roles from the previous installment.
Kyle Richards will be returning to the franchise as Lindsey Wallace, the role she played in the original 1978 Halloween. This will be the first time in the ‘Halloween’ franchise that the character of Lindsey Wallace has appeared since the original.
Nancy Stephens will also be returning to the series as Marion Chambers. She appeared in the original ‘Halloween’ film, as well as ‘Halloween 2’ and ‘Halloween H20: 20 years later.’
Newcomer to the franchise, Anthony Michael Hall, is set to play the role of Tommy Doyle. Fans of the series will remember Tommy as the child Laurie was babysitting in the original Halloween. The character of Tommy Doyle was last portrayed by Paul Rudd in the sixth Halloween movie, ‘The Curse of Michael Myers.’
‘Halloween Kills’ was originally scheduled for release this month but, due to the current global situation, is now scheduled to be released October 15, 2021.
