‘Bad Hair’ Hulu Original Movie Review

Bad Hair is a film about a young woman whose hair has become possessed by an evil witch’s spirit wreaking havoc on everyone and everything around them, the film is a horror-comedy with musical elements. If you are a fan of easy-going horror with funny moments then you should give Bad Hair a playback.

The film is perhaps the biggest breakthrough performance for Elle Lorraine. Bad Hair is her biggest film to date, I love her acting and hope to see her in even more films.

Let’s dive into the film, Set in late 1989 the production right from the start displays a connection to classic horror campy elements the viewer can tell that the film is going to be extremely campy with cheesy over the top scene in which Zaria Kelley acting as a young version of Anna, who is portrayed as an adult by Elle Lorraine.

The general narrative is of a young lady in media outlets who battles to ascend the professional bureaucracy and bear the cost of lease spikes. Bad Hair likewise depicts that it is so natural to dismiss one’s actual self when endeavoring toward a lifelong objective, to the degree of turning into a completely new individual. The ghastliness components were peculiar, startling, and dramatic. Notwithstanding the silliness of the idea of an evil weave coming to life.

The film’s mantra is an overall focus on how society has pressured women to focus on beauty or how they appear to everyone else even back in the late ’80s. Bad Hair does a great job at demonstrating the social issues that come with having to look good for everything and everyone.

  • Vanessa Williams and Usher previously co-starred in the drama Light It Up (1999).

  • Following Jordan Peele’s “Get Out”, the movie uses a race issue within the horror genre to debate critical race theory.

  • Brook-Lynne says she has seen all of the “Jason movies”.

Bad hair has a runtime of 1 Hour 42 Minutes and can be streamed exclusively on Hulu.

In conclusion, ‘Bad Hair’ is a pleasant watch, with great narrating and incredible cinematography. There are solid exhibitions and a one-of-a-kind ending, regardless of whether the lead-up is more nonexclusive.
