The Chainsaw Family at Waxwork Records is thrilled to be offered some prime steaks! TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE PART 2’s original motion picture score was composed by Jerry Lambert! Tobe Hooper directed this dark comedy horror film starring Dennis Hopper, Caroline Williams, Bill Moseley, and Jim Siedow in 1986. During the course of the film, a former Texas marshal pursues Leatherface and his cannibalistic family, who kidnap and hold captive a radio DJ.
The original soundtrack features over 90 minutes of dark music concrét by utilising ambient noises, synthesisers, drones, ambient soundscapes, audio manipulation, wind, tape loops, animal growls, and sampling, according to Waxwork. The album was sourced from the original 1986 master tapes and then mixed and sequenced into a cohesive album listening experience by Lambert.
