“Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman” is the second film about the serial killer released this year. Numerous movies have been made about Bundy’s murderous ways, but this one is written and directed by Daniel Farrands, a filmmaker with a fondness for horror movies from the 1980s. Besides “The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” and “The Haunting of Sharon Tate,” Farrands only makes slasher features, and he is back to his routine with “American Boogeyman.” While the film does not only fail to understand the definition of “boogeyman,” but also reaches a new low of tastelessness, reveling in Bundy’s acts of violence against women while pretending to celebrate conventional police procedure and survival instinct.

The film has a runtime of 1 hour 50 minutes Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman will be available across iTunes, Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Sky from December 6th.
