‘Resident Evil’ Reboot Gets an Official Title

The title for Constantin Film’s ‘Resident Evil’ reboot has officially been announced as ‘Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.’ Director Johannes Roberts revealed the title during an interview with IGN at SXSW’s online event, as well as some insight into the film. Roberts revealed that the movie will serve as an origin story for ‘Resident Evil’ and will be a “separate entity” from the original franchise.
