As per the plot summary, the story of Good Madam focuses on Tsidi, a single mother who is “forced to move in with her estranged mother Mavis,” who is a live-in domestic worker caring obsessively for her catatonic white “Madam” in the affluent suburbs of Cape Town. The film follows Tsidi’s journey as she adjusts to her new living situation with Mavis. However, while Tsidi works to bring her family back to health, “a dreadful spectre starts to rise.”
