Scream 5 to be filmed this year.

Just encase you missed the twitter storm about Scream 5, we are here to tell you that the blockbuster feature film Scream 5 is set to start filming this year in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Yesterday we found out that David Arquette will return in Scream 5. Now there is new information the film has picked up two great horror screenwriters James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and Guy Busick (Ready or Not, Castle Rock). We know that Scream 5 will be an original story based in the scream universe co-written by Busick and Vanderbilt.

Wes Craven re-imagined and renewed the slasher-awfulness type.
