“Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” Trailer Packs Nostalgia and New Thrills

The Ghostbusters are back! A new trailer for the upcoming film Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire has just dropped, giving fans a nostalgic dose of proton pack action along with some chilling new spectral threats.

Directed by Gil Kenan (Monster House), Frozen Empire looks to deliver the perfect blend of classic Ghostbusters iconography along with some fresh mythos and ghosts. The trailer shows the return of Slimer, the Library Ghost, and the iconic firehouse headquarters, alongside teases of a dangerous new artifact and villain.

Legacy characters like Bill Murray’s Peter Venkman return, alongside younger generation busters played by Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace. The cast also includes Kumail Nanjiani, Celeste O’Connor and Paul Rudd.

It’s shaping up to be a film that bridges old and new, celebrating 40 years of Ghostbusters while setting up new adventures. The proton packs are powered up, the Ecto-1 is gassed up, and things are sure to go spooky when Frozen Empire hits theaters on March 22nd, 2024.

Let us know your thoughts on the new trailer and whether you’ll be lining up to see the return of the beloved franchise! Bust makes me feel good!
