The story is a whirlwind of fear, focusing on Suvari, who invites her estranged sister (Marvel) – the only survivor of a chilling cult’s mass suicide – into her home. Their reunion sets off a dangerous chain of events. As the sister’s malevolent presence starts to take hold, Suvari’s world – her sanity and her marriage to Ulrich – begins to fall apart, leading her into a terrifying spiral of obsession and dread.
At the heart of this frightening tale is Bosner’s original short, Devotee, a seven-minute lesson in building tension. Featuring Mackenzie Firgens (Rent), Grant Feely (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Ben Bladon (Judge Me Not), it showcases a mother’s disturbing devotion to something unseen, laying the eerie groundwork for Devoted.
