We had previously heard that Don Mancini’s “Chucky” trailer would be released on July 25th, but it looks like we’ll get it tomorrow.
It looks like Entertainment Weekly will be revealing something on July 16th by sharing this mysterious teaser art over on Instagram.
The series, titled “Chucky”, will, according to its description, “explore the character of Chucky with a depth that is uniquely enabled by a television series.”
A series of horrific murders take place in a suburb after an antique Chucky doll appears at a yard sale, leading an idyllic American town to chaos. Chucky’s former enemies – and allies – arrive, threatening to uncover the truth behind the killings, as well as the extraordinary life story of a child who somehow began working as a demon doll.”
Nick Antosca (“Channel Zero”) is the executive producer of “Chucky.”.
SYFY and USA will both broadcast the series.
