Resident Evil, a popular Capcom horror survival video game, will premiere on Netflix this Thursday, July 14, as well as a behind-the-scenes clip from the production’s actors and crew gives viewers a glimpse into the production process. Take a look at the video!
Writer and showrunner Andrew Dabb (of Supernatural fame) creates an eight-part mini-season that takes place in 2036, 14 years after the world was decimated by an infectious disease. It’s a world overrun by bloodthirsty, sick, psychotic monsters, and the summary says that Jade Wesker is fighting for survival in it.
“Jade is tormented by her history in New Raccoon City, by her father’s terrifying links to the Umbrella Corporation and by what happened to her sister Billie.”
Among the cast are Albert Wesker played by Lance Reddick, who also appears as a guest star in the programme as Ella Balinska and Tara Smart.
In an interview, Dabb stated that he already knows how the programme would end up. When it comes down to it, we have an ending, he said. “As for how quickly or slowly we get there, that’s up to us. As time goes on, we’ll be able to accomplish more and better things.
