New Texas Chainsaw Poster Revealed

A poster for the new upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie has been revealed. The reveal came via hidden messages in the recent trailer for Call of Duty: The Haunting of Verdansk.

The first message tells us that “Leatherface Lives”

The second message reads “Texas Chainsaw”

The final message being “Dot Com”.

These hidden messages lead viewers to the Legendary Pictures website: TexasChainsaw.com.

When you visit the site, an image of Leatherface’s skin mask first flashes against a black screen before giving you a full view of the new water colored image. Underneath is text that reads: “In 1974, the world witnessed one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of American history.”

This is followed by a message that reads: “In 2021, the face of madness returns.”

This upcoming Texas Chainsaw reboot suffered a major setback early into filming when it saw its original footage scrapped after directors Andy and Ryan Tohill exited the film after only a week of filming. The project has since resumed filming in Bulgaria, with David Blue Garcia stepping into the director seat.

No official plot has been revealed, other than this movie will be a reboot of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror film franchise.

If you can’t wait for the film’s release, the Call of Duty seasonal event, ‘The Haunting of Verdansk,’ is offering horror themed skin bundles of Leatherface and Billy, the puppet from the Saw franchise.

The Leatherface bundle comes with Leatherface’s iconic mask and a “Family Heirloom” LMG blueprint that allows the player to wield their weapon like a chainsaw.

The seasonal event is scheduled to run until November 03/2020.
