When the debut of Dark Night of the Scarecrow aired on CBS on October 24, 1981, viewers were horrified. This small made-for-television picture became a cult classic and launched a whole scarecrow-centric horror film subgenre. Dark Night of the Scarecrow 2 is the reappearance of the scarecrow, more than four decades after the first film.
