The Story
Henry’s world collapses when his wife Catherine dies of brain cancer—and he fails to honor her final request: burial in her childhood forest. But his betrayal runs deeper—their friend Rebecca carries his child.
After returning Catherine’s body to the city (defying her domineering father), Henry is consumed by guilt—and something worse. As inexplicable horrors escalate, he becomes convinced: Catherine’s ghost has returned for vengeance.
