John Wick 4 Targets $70 Million Opener

Get ready for an action-packed weekend as “John Wick: Chapter 4” hits theaters! Fans of the series can expect another thrilling adventure led by the legendary assassin played by Keanu Reeves. The movie is expected to make a huge splash, potentially earning a whopping $65-70 million in North America alone, with an additional 71 territories debuting internationally.

This franchise has consistently outdone itself at the box office, with each film performing better than the last. With “Chapter 4” already receiving rave reviews, it seems likely to continue this trend. It’s worth noting that the movie was also the most expensive to produce in the series, costing over $100 million.

The previous installment, “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum,” currently holds the record as the highest-grossing movie in the series with $328.3 million worldwide. However, “Chapter 4” hopes to surpass that and become the biggest earner of the franchise.

While it’s the only new nationwide release this weekend, “John Wick 4” is expected to easily dominate the domestic charts, overtaking “Shazam: Fury of the Gods.” It’s been a successful month at the box office, with “Scream” and “Creed” also breaking opening weekend records in their respective series.
