Four Cult Horror Directors Team Up for an Anthology of Terror in Hi-Fear

An all-star team of cult horror directors have joined forces for Hi-Fear, an anthology film exploring humanity’s deepest fears. Brad Sykes (Plaguers, Scream Queen), Todd Sheets (Goblin, Bonehill Road), Anthony Catanese (Sodomaniac, Girls Just Wanna Have Blood) and Tim Ritter (Truth or Dare, Killing Spree) each direct a chilling short story in this highly-anticipated third installment of the Hi-series, following Hi-8 (2013) and Hi-Death (2018).

In Hi-Fear, an illustrator is tasked with creating four terrifying comic book stories based on common fears and phobias. But as she delves deeper into the unsettling subject matter, the line between fiction and reality starts to blur. Each director brings their own twisted vision to explore what scares us most in the dark.

Hi-Fear arrives on Digital June 13 and DVD July 11, courtesy of Wild Eye Releasing. The DVD release comes loaded with special features including audio commentaries, a behind-the-scenes featurette, stills gallery, and more. Pop Horror calls Hi-Fear “one of the better indie horror anthologies out there. It’s offensive, grotesque, and immoral.”

This all-star directorial team and exploration of fear itself is sure to make Hi-Fear a must-see for indie horror fans and anthology enthusiasts alike. If you like your horror raw, unsettling and to push boundaries, Hi-Fear is the film for you. The third installment in the Hi-series promises scares, shocks and a healthy dose of the strange and surreal.
