Dead in the Water, a zombie submarine spinoff from Fear the Walking Dead, is premiering on AMC+. The digital original scripted special, set onboard the USS Pennsylvania and set before Season 6 of Fear on the eve of the walker apocalypse, was announced by AMC Networks last spring. Nick Stahl, who played Riley in the second part of last season, returns as the submarine weapons officer who assisted Teddy (John Glover) in firing the nuclear-zombie bombs that converted Texas into the epicentre of the zombie outbreak.
Dead In The Water, which was announced early last year and is set onboard the USS Pennsylvania on the night of the nuclear zombie apocalypse, sees Nick Stahl reprise his role as weapons officer Riley.
Executive produced by Ian Goldberg, Andrew Chambliss, and Scott M. Gimple, Dead in the Water will premiere on AMC+ on April 10. Nick Stahl portrays Riley from Season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead in the special, which was penned by Jacob Pinion. Walking Dead Submarine used to be a meme but now its a reality.
Stahl’s character Riley, a new father, is forced to struggle for survival as the apocalypse unfolds in Dead In The Water. According to ComicBook.com The new streaming special will launch on AMC+ on Sunday, April 10th. Part 2 of Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 starts on AMC+ on Sunday, April 17 with the first two episodes, with additional episodes accessible one week ahead of AMC on April 24.
Another great update for The Fear of the Walking dead franchise is that Kim Dickens reprises her role as Madison Clark in the upcoming season. Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 will premiere on AMC+ on April 17 before airing on AMC on April 24.
