Attention all Resident Evil enthusiasts! The highly anticipated next episode of the thrilling film noir web series, CARRIER: A Raccoon City Story, is just around the corner and we have some exciting news for you. Charlie Kraslavsky, the actor who played Chris Redfield in Resident Evil, is set to star in the next episode as the notorious Raccoon City Mayor Michael Warren.
Apart from his upcoming role in CARRIER, Kraslavsky is also working on a short film called The Keeper’s Diary with director Andrew Saullo. The Resident Evil star’s collaboration with Saullo has already generated considerable buzz and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
CARRIER first premiered last year with a pilot episode and has been captivating audiences ever since. Set in 1995, the series follows a hardboiled detective named Sam Othic, who is investigating a series of domestic terrorist activities in Raccoon City that are bordering on cult-like behavior. Noah Goldberg, Pablo Kolache, and Trent Hall star in the pilot episode alongside Kraslavsky, who is set to make his debut in the next episode.
The brainchild of filmmaker Shaun Meyer, CARRIER: A Raccoon City Story aims to delve into what Raccoon City was like before Umbrella Corporation caused its eventual destruction. Meyer describes the series as “a detective story told through the lens of comic book cutscenes from Max Payne” set in the Resident Evil universe. Along with directing the series, Meyer also handled the soundtrack, recording, mixing, and editing it with a friend.
While details about Kraslavsky’s character in the upcoming episode are being kept tightly under wraps, fans of Resident Evil can expect an intense and gripping storyline that is sure to keep them on the edge of their seats.
