Unspeakable Looks Absolutely Bonkers with Edward Furlong

Let’s dive into Unspeakable: Beyond the Wall of Sleep. Chad Ferrin is the creative mind behind this Lovecraft-inspired trilogy, and this one is the grand conclusion.

But you know what really grabs my attention? Edward Furlong. Yes, the Edward Furlong. The same actor who played John Connor is back in a film that seems delightfully outrageous.

In this movie, Furlong takes on the role of a dream expert – an “oneirologist,” which basically means he plays around with dreams. He finds himself at Arkham Asylum for a particular patient who thinks he’s a 122-year-old man from the colonial era.

Sounds wild, right? Furlong brings out his “Dream Machine” (because that’s totally a thing) and accidentally unleashes some sort of multi-dimensional monster set on world destruction. Just a typical day at Arkham.

The trailer is a chaotic blend of practical effects, eerie imagery, and a look on Furlong’s face that says he’s re-evaluating his life choices. It’s exactly the kind of wonderfully absurd horror I’m always looking for. And seeing Furlong in such a bizarre role? What a treat!

The supporting cast is impressive, too, with Bai Ling, Lew Temple, and Ginger Lynn joining the fray. Ferrin’s earlier Lovecraft-inspired films were quite a ride, and Unspeakable seems to take things to a whole new level.

Don’t forget to mark March 4th, 2025, on your calendars. That’s when Breaking Glass Pictures will release this wild film. If you’re a fan of Lovecraft, Furlong (who we all secretly adore), or just movies that are delightfully crazy, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

I’m looking forward to reviewing the film soon so I can share more, but honestly, it looks like it’s going to be amazing. Just Furlong’s return makes it worth checking out.
