Screenwriters are working on the script for TOM HARDY’S THIRD ‘VENOM’ MOVIE.

By penning the script alongside Kelly Marcel, who penned the previous two Venom films, Tom Hardy is taking an active role in Venom 3 (or whatever the title ends up being). Take a look at Hardy’s cover page from the script-in-progress, posted on Instagram.

As a result of their commercial success, the first two films in this superhero trilogy are already in talks to be expanded into a trilogy. Sony now looks poised to return to the Venom-verse after a brief interlude in the MCU courtesy to Peter Parker and Doctor Strange.

Director Andy Serkis, who directed last year’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, has indicated that he might be open to returning for a third instalment in the symbiote series.

Sony Pictures is trying to extend its Spider-Man film library outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the phenomenal critical and commercial success of Spider-Man: No Way Home. It began with Tom Hardy’s Venom films in 2018, 2019 and 2021, before Morbius and before Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter.

In his debut outing as Eddie Brock and his symbiotic extraterrestrial best buddy, Hardy stunned the globe by generating more over $850 million at the global movie office, along with an 81 percent Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes An opening weekend gross of $90 million for Venom: Let There Be Carnage three years later has helped the worldwide box office return to prominence. This is a year’s biggest non-No Way Home total for any film.
