Dexter Revival Cast Continues to Grow

Showtime’s Dexter revival has added Jamie Chung and Oscar Wahlberg to its continually growing cast list.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first announced the casting news, Chung (Lovecraft Country) is set to play the recurring character of Molly, a famous true-crime podcaster from Los Angeles, and Wahlberg (NOS4A2) will play the recurring character of Zach, the captain of the Iron Lake High School wrestling team, who is described as a bully but the best way in with the popular crowd.

Chung and Wahlberg will be joining Clancy Brown as the primary villain Kurt Caldwell; Michael Cyril Creighton as Fred Jr, the congenial owner of Fred’s Fish & Game; Julia Jones as Angela Bishop, the chief of police; Johnny Sequoyah as Audrey, the brash and opinionated daughter of Bishop; Alano Miller as police sergeant and assistant high school wrestling coach Logan; Jack Alcott as Randall, a character who is described as having a meaningful encounter with Dexter; and Michael C. Hall, who will be returning as the titular character.

The project is currently in pre-production but is scheduled to begin filming in Massachusetts this month.

Horrorfacts will continue to report updates on the revival as they become available.
