Zack Snyder made his feature film debut directing the 2004 remake of George A. Romero’s ‘Dawn of the Dead’.
Now, after all these years, Snyder is returning to direct the undead, in Netflix’s ‘Army of the Dead.’
The film is about a group of mercenaries who, following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, venture into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
The film stars, Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children), Garret Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead), Ana de la Reguera (Ana), Nora Arnezeder (Zoo), Samantha Win (Wonder Woman), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), Michael Cassidy (Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice), Omari Hendrick (Power), Tig Notaro (Star Trek: Discovery), and Matthias Schweighöfer (You Are Wanted).
On February 21, Snyder announced on Twitter, that a teaser trailer for the film would be releasing Thursday, February 25.
The film’s star, Dave Bautista, later revealed on his Twitter account that the trailer would be dropping, February 25 at 5 AM PT.

The minute-long teaser gives us a glimpse of a decimated Las Vegas as hordes of zombies infest the famous Vegas strip. We also see Bautista and his team of mercenaries preparing to do battle with the undead, including one member of the team who is wielding a baseball bat with nails (the classic zombie killer)
