An upcoming Hulu series, “The Devil in the White City”, tells the true story of two men, an architect and a serial killer, whose lives were forever changed by the Chicago World’s Fair of 1893.
It is the story of Daniel H. Burnham, an architect racing to make a mark on the world, and Henry H. Holmes, a handsome and cunning physician who built a murder castle on fair grounds – a palace built to seduce, torture and mutilate young women.
The story is a mystery, romance, and murder story set in the gilded age.
