New Sci-Fi Thriller ‘First Contact’ Coming to Digital and DVD

The sci-fi thriller ‘First Contact’ from director Bruce Wemple is set to be released on digital and DVD platforms on June 6. The film premiered to positive reviews at Panic Fest in April and features strong practical effects and a standout performance from actress Anna Shields, known for her work in other Wemple films like ‘Wendigo’ and ‘Monstrous.’

Synopsis

‘First Contact’ follows estranged siblings Casey and Dan who travel to their late scientist father’s farmhouse to go through his unfinished work. They soon discover that their father’s research was far more dangerous than they imagined. An evil entity that was trapped for millions of years has been released and has started attacking locals. Casey and Dan must uncover the secrets of this interdimensional monster before it’s too late.
