Naomi Watts — Naomi Ellen Watts, (born September 28, 1968, Shoreham, Kent, England), British-born Australian actress, she first graced us with a true horror movie appearance in Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering (1996) but she is most known to horror movie fans for her outstanding role in The Ring (2002) Naomi’s most recent horror film was Shut In (2016).
Ms. Watts is not just known for horror movies, but she is in fact a Hollywood A-Lister who has appeared in far too many films to list here aside from being an outstanding actor she is also known for a very lucrative modeling career.
Ms. Watts has said that the first time she wanted to become an actress was after seeing her mother performing on stage and from the time she watched the 1980 film Fame.
After emigrating, Watts was enrolled in acting lessons by her mother; she auditioned for numerous television advertisements, where she met and befriended actress Nicole Kidman.
Her father’s laugh can be heard in the Pink Floyd songs “Speak to Me” and “Brain Damage” from their 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon.
In 2006, she became a goodwill ambassador for Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, which helps to raise awareness of AIDS-related issues.
