House Of The Dead Video Game Remake Coming to PC, PS5 & Xbox.

Forever Entertainment has announced that The House of the Dead: Remake would be available on PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.

The House of the Dead: Remake is a remake of the 1996 arcade on-rails shooter. Players assume the roles of AMS agents Thomas Rogan and G as they navigate a home infested with zombies and other diseased monsters.

Anyone who grew up in the period of arcades is likely to have a personal connection to the House of the Dead series. Gamers were amazed by the game’s shoddy B-movie brutality and its trademark use of a light gun in the initial 1996 release. The high-octane gunfire of the arcade cabinet constantly drew people’s attention.

Typical of most arcade light gun shooters, this one devoured quarters and demanded almost a dollar to play, which was nearly impossible to come by. Fortunately, The House of the Dead: Remake is a one-time purchase that comes with a slew of bonuses and additional hacks to allow you to participate in the massive attack on Dr. Curien’s estate.

Given that clicking all over your screen with your mouse to blast zombies in a rail shooter isn’t anywhere like as gratifying as using a lightgun, a PC isn’t really the best place for Sega’s House of the Dead series. However, Sega isn’t giving up.

In order to play PS4 games on a PS5 you will need Sony’s camera adapter. A USB dongle is required to convert the connection from HDMI to USB since the new system does not include the PS4’s native camera connector.

“The House of the Dead: Remake is a remade version of the 1997 arcade platform game. A classic arcade rail-shooter gets a complete new cast and gameplay tweaks to meet current gaming standards “We’ve been informed. It has several endings and is described as a “well-known arcade classic with current visuals and controls.
