The upcoming Dexter revival has found its primary villain in Clancy Brown.
It was revealed by TVLine that Brown will be joining the series as Kurt Caldwell, who has been described as the unofficial mayor of the small town of Iron Lake. He realized the American dream by going from driving big rigs, just like his father did, to now owning several trucks and the local truck stop. Powerful, generous, loved by everyone — he’s a true man of the people. If he’s got your back, consider yourself blessed. But should you cross Kurt, or hurt anyone that he cares for, God help you.
Brown is set to appear in the revival alongside Michael C. Hall, who will be returning as the titular character.
Details on the limited series are scarce, as the plot is being kept under wraps. All that’s known at this time is that the show will serve as a second finale, with the series picking up with Dexter in real-time.
