A Sneak Peek at the Trailer and Poster for “The Boogeyman” Adaptation of the work of Stephen King

The first trailer for The Boogeyman, a film adaptation of a short story written by Stephen King, was made available to the public today during the NFC championship game. The Boogeyman is a film that will be released later this year. It is expected to be made available to the public on June 2, 2023, and it will be exhibited solely in cinemas all over the country.

High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain,” reads the synopsis. “When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.

21 Laps is the production company responsible for the film adaptation. Shawn Levy, Dan Levin, and Dan Cohen are in charge of production. Since 2018, Beck and Woods have been associated with the project in some capacity, and they are currently serving as executive producers.

Chris Messina (Birds of Prey), Vivien Lyra Blair (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets), Madison Hu (Bizaardvark), LisaGay Hamilton (Vice), and David Dastmalchian also star in the film The Boogeyman.

The story of a man who goes to see a psychiatrist after the murder of his children at the hands of a monster that was hiding in their closet was told for the first time in The Boogeyman, which was published for the first time in the October, 1973 issue of Cavalier magazine. After some time had passed, in 1978, the story was included in a collection of Stephen King’s called Night Shift.
